Today we welcome Amy J. Norris, author and avid sports fan to 3 Questions Wednesday.

(1) Do you watch reality television? Why or why not?

Amy: I watch some reality tv. I used to be an “American Idol” watcher, but not after this season. I didn’t prefer their choices for judges…so I’ve replaced that with “The Voice”. 🙂 I have in the past watched “Survivor,” but that’s dropped off my radar as well. I barely have time for the tv shows I do watch (non-reality) so if something doesn’t keep my interest, it gets deleted from my scheduled recordings on my DVR.

(2) What are your thoughts on e-publishing?

Amy: Well, I better say I like it (and I do) since I am published with an e-pub, Astraea Press. As much as I love to hold, touch and inhale the smell of a regular book, e-books are what more people are turning to. This can be seen in the recent decreasing of bookstore chains like Borders and Barnes and Noble. One of the things I like about my e-pub though is they will get your book in print as well. It just needs to be a proven seller in the e-market first. So, I get to enjoy both worlds that way.

(3)Which do you prefer? Facebook or Twitter?

Amy: For interacting with my friends, Facebook is great. I love to share crazy life stories or random happenstances in my life with my Facebook peeps.

For my love of sports and my guilty pleasure (yes, I watch Hawaii Five-0) I love Twitter because you can read about instant sports happenings from journalists and players and latebreaking news regarding shows and entertainment from the producers and actors themselves. I think that’s kind of neat.

Thank you, Amy, for joining us on 3 Questions Wednesday! Leave a comment for a chance to win a pair of e-books, Just a Little Faith and Just a Little Hope!

Her primary goal is to get to Heaven to spend an eternity with our Lord and be reunited with family and friends who have gone on before, especially her Dad and Pepaw who instilled in her a love of writing in the first place.
