Meet Newest Crew Member-Robin E. Mason

ME - 041115 - croppedToday we give a big shout out to our newest Crew Member, Robin E. Mason!

(1)  Welcome to the Writing Prompts Crew. Tell us a little about yourself.

Robin: A little bit about me. I’ve been a single mom to three wonderful kids for nearly 31 years [gasp!] Two of them have given me grandgirls, ages 5 and 9. My daughter and the mother of the nine-year-old lives across the street from me. I’ve been on Disability for Rheumatoid Arthritis since 2010, but I am standing on the Word of God for healing. I’ve lived in the upstate of South Carolina since 1988, currently just me and my five kitty babies. [got pics, wanna see?]

(2)  How did you become interested in being a writer?

Robin: The story ideas have always been there, rambling through my mind [see bio.] When the beginning of Tessa came to me in 2008, I set about to write it, got preempted, then reengaged in 2013. Once she was published, on Amazon for Kindle, I knew there was no turning back.

(3)  Can you tell us three unique things about you that we may not know?

Robin: (1) Not sure how unique but I drink unsweetened iced tea 24/7 – my blood type is A-Tea positive! [when I can get the brand I prefer, I mix half green tea] (2) I put cinnamon in anything I can get away with it – my coffee, pancakes, biscuits, current fav: croissant dough – pretty much every breakfast item [except grits.] and (3) I would be fluent in Spanish if I’d practice – and there is plenty of opportunity – but I’m chicken!! [bonus, m’wanna learn German, Russian, French and Gaelic (among others)]

Robin E. Mason writes Christian-worldview–in other words, there’s no salvation message, but there are plenty of characters who know the Lord and share His perspective with those who are struggling. She has lived in the Upstate of South Carolina since 1988. She lived in Colorado for sixteen years, during which time she: went to high school, got married, had babies, got divorced and went to college. Her “babies” are now grown, two have babies of their own.  She currently lives with her five cats.

Her first novel, Tessa, is available on Amazon, both for Kindle and in print. The sequel, Clara Bess, will be available later this summer.
