3 Questions Wednesday with Ane Mulligan

Ane-7Today we welcome novelist and playwright, Ane Mulligan, to 3 Questions Wednesday!

Hi, Ane! So glad you stopped by. First question.

Which author would you never get tired of, and why?

Ane: Barbara Davis. She writes wonderful Southern women’s fiction. I’ve become a diehard fan!

I’ll have to check out her books. Now how about the characters?

Who is your favorite fictional villain?

Ane: This is easy. It’s Chance Macy in Jessica Dotta’s Prince of Privilege series. He’s deliciously wicked.

He sounds interesting. 🙂 Last question.

What project are you currently working on?

Ane: I’m writing the 4th book in my Chapel Springs series, Life in Chapel Springs. The second book, Chapel Springs Survival, releases tomorrow, Dec 3rd, and the third book, Home to Chapel Springs, will release in May of 2016.

I can’t wait to read them. Thanks again for the visit.

Ane has graciously offered a copy of her Chapel Springs Cookbook, full of yummy recipes, to one blessed commentor. Please leave a comment below to be entered.

A mail-order bride, a town overrun with tourists, and illegal art.  How on earth will Claire and Chapel Springs survive?

Claire Bennett’s Operation Marriage Revival succeeded and life is good. That is until the mayor’s brother blabs a secret: Claire’s nineteen-year-old son has married a Brazilian mail order bride. When Claire tries to welcome her, she’s ridiculed, rebuffed, and rejected. Loving this girl is like hugging a prickly cactus.

Lydia Smith is happily living alone and running her spa—then the widow on the hill becomes a blushing bride. Then her groom’s adult son moves in—on everything.

From the first sighting of a country music star in The Painted Loon, Chapel Springs is inundated with stargazers, causing residents to flee the area. When her best friends put their house on the market, Claire is forced to do something or lose the closest thing to a sister she’s got. With her son’s future at stake and the town’s problems to solve, it’s Claire’s who needs a guardian angel.

Ane Mulligan writes Southern-fried fiction served with a tall, sweet iced tea. She firmly believes coffee and chocolate are two of the four major food groups.
