3 Questions Wednesday welcomes  writer and editor, Jerusha Agen. Don’t miss the opportunity to win her book, This Dance–from her romantic suspense series, Sisters Redeemed. You’ll find the details below. But first, find out her answers to our 3 questions–

What books have fortified you as a writer? How?

Jerusha: The Bible would definitely have to come first in answer to that question. It gives me my strength for writing and for life. From a literary standpoint, To Kill a Mockingbird is my favorite book and one that taught me a great deal about writing, while inspiring me to always strive to write stories as rich and meaningful as Harper Lee’s. (I haven’t attained that goal yet, but at least I’m aiming high!)

Nothing wrong with aiming high! And the Bible lends inspiration and personal strength to many writers, so you’re in good company. Now–

What secret talents do you have?

Jerusha: I can recite the first eighteen lines of Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales in the Old English. I’m afraid that’s about as exciting as my hidden talents get!

Cool! I’d love to hear that. 🙂 You’d get a prize for most unusual talent, anyway. Last question–

If we came to your house for dinner, what would you prepare for us?

Jerusha :  I admit, I’m much more of a baker than a cook, but I could whip up my favorite, light-but-delicious spaghetti and sausage dish, French bread, and finish off the meal with one of my popular, not-so-light-but-delicious desserts.

Spaghetti–and a light version–wonderful! And since we’ve been careful with the main dish, of course we can splurge on the dessert. 🙂 Jerusha, thanks so much for taking the time to answer our 3 Questions.
