Gail Johnson is a writer of fiction and non-fiction stories. She also writes Southern Gospel and Contemporary Gospel songs. Her Southern Gospel song, “Less of Me and More of You,” came in the top 5 runners-up in the 2010 Singing News/Solid Gospel Songwriters Search.
In the past, she has published articles and interviews on the web, in the local newspaper, and church magazines. She has also tried her hand at playwriting and Biblical Studies. A member of American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW), she is currently working on a memoir for 2017.
Born and raised in the South, Gail is a country girl at heart. She and her husband live on a 53-acre farm which they share with the local wildlife. Married for 29 years, they have 2 loving children and 3 dogs: Gracie (thirteen-year-old Shih Tzu), Suri (five-year-old Schnauzer), and Doug (two-year-old rescue pup).
A retired cosmetologist and homeschool mom, Gail enjoys landscape photography, reading, and listening to different genres of music. She also enjoys watching BBC and GPB television. On the weekends, you can find her working on an endless list of DIY projects or riding a four-wheeler.
